The secular approach to sexuality focuses almost exclusively on pleasure and self-fulfillment, and in doing so, promotes objectification; it dehumanizes the human person and others by making self-centered gratification the highest priority, rather than our sexuality being a selfless exchange of love—a total self-gift to another.
